Well, we did what we could to get my mug on the ballot and kismet - TopicsExpress

Well, we did what we could to get my mug on the ballot and kismet spoke loudly as expected and intended. Heading to the notary we encountered heavy rush hour Bellingham traffic and although making it with 6 minutes to spare, the notary had fled the premises 5 minutes before but without telling us there was that time factor to consider. Being this was all last minute it turned out well in that another candidate filed at the last minute to carry the standard. In one sense it was a win in that I actually tried for the office at all. Giving up ones privacy and growing a shell to suit the modern world of politics told me that I at least have the requisite courage to allide with rotten tomatoes thrown my way in the pillories of public opinion. At least FB paved the way for my being known for whatever Ill be known for. Google will do the rest. But, Alaska, my first love, came out on top as I found I was willing to stand up for her. That is all for me. Today. 2016 has me thinking it is my responsibility to get serious and real about this type of endeavor. In the meantime, SB 21 is a symptom of the deeper malaise so that is where Ill be dedicating my time leading up to the August primaries.
