Well well well So today i flew solo, but this time there was a catch. Normally my instructor flies up with me for 2 circuits of the airfield and then gets or me to fly solo. However! This time i flew out completely on my own, marking 3.3 hours of solo flight time. But enough about my stats and shit, lets hear about how this flight went. Well my first ever grass start was a bit odd but i got there in the end, i ended up being nice and letting another solo student go ahead of me. Boy was that a mistake, he kept extending downwind causing long finals, so i in turn extended down wind as its never a good idea to cut in front. However by the time i wanted to stop for finals so did he and i ended up way to close to him to stop so i had to go around which is all fine and what not, but when i came back around for finals again some idiot decided to line up right as i was coming in, meaning i had to go around AGAIN. I appreciate the time extension to my hours but damn it woman you could give more warning, then she was pulling right a whole lot meaning i had to move right also to avoid her. But i ended up pulling everything off just fine. All in all a good day, keen to fly again tomorrow.
