Well what a start to our break to york. Mags dropped us off at biggleswade train station. Went to platform as we had preordered tickets. Graham looked at board. Train cancelled. Went to ticket office and was told the next train wouldnt be for an hour. This would mean we miss our connecting train. They ordered us a taxi which came 20 mins later. By now it was 7.20 our train leaves peterborough 8.16. The taxi driver said he had to get fuel as it was a last minute booking. We stopped for fuel and the man who was in front of our driver had bought half the shop and decided to have all his lottery tickets checked. By now it was 7.40. After a worrying drive we got to peterborough just before the train pulled in. Now we are on the train and i am starving. Must be nerves. Ha ha. Hope the pubs down the shambles open early. Graham and i neef a big drink.let the train take the strsin?
