Well what a week it was, windy most days with a small reprieve on Friday. Its been a struggle to get these guys their fish with the snapper reluctant to bite in the shallow water. They still landed some nice fish as you can see with Chriss Rankin and Coral Trout. Lunch time Friday saw the wind drop off so we moved north to 60 plus metres, the fish were hungrier at this depth and it only took a short time to catch their limit of nice big Pinks, we went back into Koks Island for a quick troll were Peter picked up this nice mackerel, with everyone happy we headed home. Geoff and the boys are regulars to Indian Chief and we would to thank them for coming and look forward to seeing them next August. Although the boys tried hard in some difficult conditions, they were unable to beat Spiders snapper which is still leading the competition. This weeks forecast looks more favourable so we shall see how our new group performs.
