Well where do I begin..... I guess by saying that I have guardian angels around me. We always leave the hair straightener in the sink but this morning was different. Somehow there was water in the bottom of the sink bc the stopper was down. I didnt notice the water when I turned the straightener on. When I picked it up to use it the iron was very, very hot. I then begin to notice the water dripping from the cord so I immediately throw the straighter down. After about five minutes it dawns on me how dangerous that was and what could have happened to me. Again Im blessed to have protective angels always with me. Then this afternoon during dismissal............... I was walking a young man to his vehicle. And for those of you who know me well know how terrified I am of rats or mice. Anyway, I look done and thought I saw a furry friend then said to myself nah that wasnt anything it was just my imagination. I looked down again and I see the mouse right by my foot which are half naked because Im wearing flip flops. So without hesitation I turn around very quickly to get away from the mouse and apparently I started a squeal of my own as I begin to run back in the school. Again I thought it was my imagination that the mouse was chasing me but it wasnt. My fearless book keeper Eva McPherson is my hero. She sticks her foot out to keep the mouse from getting me or from really going in the school. She quietly walks up to me and says something about the video and how we might win some money. I said you didnt have time to video. She says I didnt have to the cameras captured it all! It then dawned on me that she was referring to the school cameras. Anyway this incident will be one that I will not forget as long as I live. #1 what are the chances that a mouse of all things would chase me #2 of all places why did it have to happen in front of the students, teachers, and parents.? After my heart calmed down the replay from the cameras gave us all something to laugh about!! #loveteambuhl
