Well whos for an update on hols so far lol? We all arrived back together, tired after a very long journey back including 2 flights and a long wait in between. John managed to get me and MM bumped upto business class upstairs on the A380, not before alot of fighting and troubles over it but we got there in the end and it was fantastic! We arrived at mums and I have to say the rest of the day is a bit of a blur. Then it was time for MM and Josephs 1st birthday party. Unfortunately I didnt see much of it as Mum took ill and I had to take her to hospital. We were due to go on holiday the next day but felt mum was too ill. The day after I got a dressing down from the doctor (ooer missus!) And was ordered to go on holiday. So we did. We went to Devon for the first time and stayed in Marks cottage in Bucks Mill. It was idyllic. I could have stayed there forever. It was my dream home! A week later we went to a cottage in Porkellis near Helston in Cornwall. We had a lovely couple of weeks and went to our beloved Heligan. The 2 weeks went by far too quickly! We went back to mums and met up with Johns parents Eric and Moira at Bolton Abbey for a lovely picnic for Johns birthday. Then all too soon it was time for john to go back to Saudi. Unfortunately the night before I had a sudden bout of really bad sickness whilst trying to pack for our next week away after dropping John off for Saudi. I made it though. John was safely dropped off in Derby and we carried on on our next journey to Cornwall. It wasnt until we hit Bristol however that I found out we had set off a day too early! I didnt plan that honest lol. So we stayed the first night at the premier inn at St Austell and spent the rest of the next day at Heligan and Mevagissey. We arrived late afternoon at the apartment in St Ives. What a view we had it was gorgeous. To get that view though was through elevation and boy did I know it at the end of every day on the journey back up the hill! We had a lovely time though. We spent time on every beach in St Ives, took a boat ride, had a couple of meals out, one on the beach, got attacked by flocks of seagulls (hope they enjoyed their £12 worth of ice cream!) Did lots of walking, bought lots of books from our favourite book shop St Ives Bookseller and lots of reading done by all of us which is lovely as now all of my children have become bookworms! It had to end though and so we made our journey back to mums. She was back in hospital but we picked her up the day after. We were then due to visit Eric and moira for a few days. I managed to be hit by another bout of awful sickness. This time there were other symptoms which I didnt connect until a bit of a gruesome event happened and I ended up at the doctors with a bad case of mastitis. So the kids went without me and had a lovely time. They came back yesterday and I have just finished packing for our week in whitby with mum. Hoping the sickness will have gone by tomorrow and we can enjoy the next holiday together! Then its off back to Belper for a long awaited catch up with my fab friends. Missed them all. And our Holly dog too! Happy holidays everyone x .
