Well, yesterday, I had a slight issue with my driving lights. The lower ones towards the bottom front of the trike. I thought I had blown a fuse. But all was fine when I checked them. So the next place to check was the push-button. It was a bit on the sticky side so I tried to blow it out with a bit of electronic cleaner. Nope, didnt work. So I ended up taking the darn thing apart to see what was wrong. I had to take it apart all the way inside the button. The copper connections had quite a bit of oxidation on them. So, after a full cleaning to get them nice and shiny again I started to put it back together. Checking it as I went along. It stopped working again about halfway through putting it together. So it was taken apart one more time. The copper bar that slides had become pushed down just enough to lose the connection. A minor adjustment was made with a toothpick and it was back up and running. A word to anyone trying to do this. If you have to take it apart, be VERY aware of the small spring thats inside. Mine happened to roll away on me twice and I had to spend a bit of time searching for the darn thing. But its now back up and running without any issues. A LOT cheaper fix that buying a new button.......
