Wellington Boot Cake! Loved making this cake for a fantastic surprise 30th Barn Birthday party! Mini Hunter Wellies, luckily I had plenty of wellies to base the design on!! The sponge was zangy lemon drizzle with white chocolate buttercream. The bottom layer was dark blue sponge then a lighter blue and white sponge at the top. The flowers ontop are real flowers to add some colour and height to the cake. If you look closely you can see a chicken and guinea pig on the cake board - these came at a request!! the-duke-of-cakes.co.uk
