Welp, I got riled up again. Through no fault of his own a buddy got me on my soap box again. When are people going to get it through their thick, ignorant, union propaganda infused skulls? If your car did not have its final assembly in Canada then it is an IMPORT. It was IMPORTED into this country. It crossed our borders. I am not fundamental against a car assembled in the USA or Germany or Mexico or elsewhere. That isnt the point. But dont shove your very confused and borderline racist (at the very least xenophobic) bile in my direction by telling me a Honda Civic is import crap when it is made in Canada providing Canadians with much needed Canadian jobs! And dont think for a moment that the USA thinks a car built in Canada is the same as built in the US.
