Wendall Stacey - ABC TV Reporter in Memphis was the only media who covered the civil trial in 1999. 12 member jury after 30 days of testimony exonerated James Earl Ray and found a conspiracy to kill MLK by the feds., TN, and the City of Memphis. Stacey was canned, suffered death threats and the story buried and the trial notes forgotten. Same story in Okla. City, a local TV guy following the story of the 2nd and 3rd bombs found in the Murray bldg. NY Times syndicate shows up, buys the station, cans the reporter and editor who supported his investigating - KFOR-TV Okla. City. The bombs forgotten and the fertilizer truck bomb story and the execution of the lone nut.
