Wendy Davis for Governor of Texas! This is going to be a tough race, as demonstrated by the fact that the people of Texas elected the incompetent current Governor Rick Perry, twice in spite of his no brain Primary Run for nomination of his Party in the Presidential race of 2012. In short, the Texans knew or should have known that Perry was an incompetent jerk way back in his political life. This is a man when running for the Presidential Nomination, and whose platform included three Government Agencies, which he wanted to abolish, when asked by the independent moderator he could not remember the name of all three. It goes without saying that the three included the special interest blocks who fought so hard to destroy from inception the; Commerce Department, EPA (let the polluters destroy life as we know it) and The Department of Education, (yup, keep them barefoot, dumb and pregnant) however, in Perry’s case Education should be abolished, just look at the results that he benefitted from his education. This is a State where Wendy Davis, an elected member of their House of Representatives, when she had the floor and was speaking as a Representative, the House Speaker didn’t like what she was saying so he cut off her mike, along with the mikes of all the female Reps., as you should surmise, just as the Federal Governments own hearings prove, only men should be able to discuss women issues. The mere fact that Carl Rove, Dick Chaney, Rush Limbaugh and the Koch Brothers money have supported sleazy political trick filled political attack aimed at Wendy and her family, education, and her personal story –a story that portrays the journey of a young single mother who literally pulled herself up by her boot straps. Greg Abbott her opponent has stooped so low it would be impossible to dig himself out if he unfortunately won the race by playing politics with what has been her life. If the women of Texas want only men to make decisions that affect their life this is there opportunity to turn the clock back to the early 1900 hundreds. As a man, I can tell you this is not a single issuer regarding ‘Choice’ take that out of the equation, women earn 70% of what men earn for doing the same job, so put your Sunday go to Church dress away and think about the larger issue of women having equal opportunity as men, not more not less!
