Went for my recheck on my elbow today at the doctor. They had me go a month ago to have x-rays done even though I told them I had done nothing to break it. Anyway, I sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes before they called me up to pay my copay...then I sat back down. It was another hour before they called me to go to the exam room. I went through all the magazines and tore out all the recipes I wanted and sat and waited. After waiting 45 minutes I got up and opened the door and left it open so I could see if anyone walked by. No one did. I looked out and noticed my chart in the rack by the door so I got it and started looking through it. I had to be somewhere in 45 more minutes. I found the report from the x-ray saying my elbow was normal so I got it, folded it up, and put it with my receipt and left. I called my mom when I got outside to let her know that I was running late and she asked what they said. I told her they didnt say anything, but I got the report from the x-ray. She said,You mean you took it? I said, Yeah, it had my damn name on it...figured it was mine...told em I had to go. I found out all I needed to know. Wont be going back there and if the next one sends me for x-rays, I can give em this and tell them its already been done.
