Went out to Canyon Lake yesterday, and caught some nice shots of an eagle, followed by a mid-air territorial attack on a wandering newcomer eagle. Its rare to see one eagle out there, but two of them, and catch multiple shots of both in the same scene. I was able to get 109 pictures before one chased off the other and both slipped out of sight. These birds really are majestic. The world seemed to stop for the few minutes I saw this drama unfold right before my eyes. I shot these with a Nikon D5200 and a 200 zoom lens. It was my first weekend out with the new camera.
