Went over this evening and pulled some weeds for one of my neighbors who has stage four ovarian cancer, she was advised by her doctor not to go out in public, and with all this rain we are having, her front yard was overtaken. Someone once told me we only do things like that for others to feel good about ourselves, and honestly I do feel good about myself for doing something she would not have been able to do herself. I dont expect a reward, or compensation of any kind, but knowing how much she loved her yard, and this little thing I could do for her made it all the worth while! Thanks to my boys for taking part in giving back to someone that has touched our hearts so dearly!
