Went through some storage stuff this morning (and hauled away 20 boxes, which was all my car would hold.) Random observations: 1. Theres enough cool stuff to warrant having a Sell on eBay box. I mean, I found an original hardcover copy (with dust jacket) of My Fair Lady; many autographed photos (mainly of Julie Newmar, but there are others, so dont look at me like that!); rare dvds. 2. Hey, Jeannine! In 2003, right after I directed Wonder of the World, I kidnapped Margie for our fifth anniversary and dragged her to Niagara Falls, where we proceeded to do all the sight-seeing things in the show. And we scarfed up a lot of the free Maid of the Mist rain slickers, in the unlikely event that I ever directed the show again. Found those today. SCORE! 3. When everything in life crashed around ten years ago, I sold my Aurora Monster Models on eBay. When I can afford it, I want to start building them again and begin my second childhood; providing that the first one ever ends. Plus, Im good enough now at painting them (thanks to theatrical makeup experience and Joy Kenyon) that I can buy them, build & paint them and sell them at a profit. Anyway - I dont have to buy The Wolf Man or Dracula; found them today, still in their boxes. I can find them on eBay at any time; however, they no longer cost 98¢.
