Went to Downtown Cafe today and I have to admit we were quite pleased with their food and service. Heres my review on the foods that we took: Crispy Chicken Sub and Smoke Chicken Sub: Too good. Both were cheesy and the bread/bun was crispy but not burned either. 160 tk is a very reasonable price for these! 8.5/10 Cheese Cake: It had to be one of the best cheese cakes Ive ever had! Combination of the crunchy base, the exotic cheese and a hint of sour raspberries! Id obviously have that again! 9.5/10! Thai Soup: It was spicy! I mean, more than what u want in a Thai soup! Spice lovers will definitely love it! 7/10 Chicken Cashew Nut Salad and Red Velvet Cupcake: Chicken was moist and they were pretty generous with the cashews! :D And the seasoning was perfect, better than many other places at least! The cupcake was good but it could have been more moist. The whipped cream was tasty though :p 7.5/10 and 7/10 respectively. I didnt have the Strawberry milkshake or the Chocolate milkshake but my friends sure liked them a lot! Service was quite good. We saw the owner himself serving as it was a bit crowded. I had a little chat with him, very friendly behavior :) Overall: Yah, Id obviously go back there because the price is quite reasonable and the Cheese Cake! :D This is my first post in this group.
