Went to IFS to see Transcendence, the new Johnny Depp picture, with our Chinese teacher. Imax 3D isnt really great but he movie was pretty darn good. Had Thai curry afterward and walked home in the rain. Super pleasant. Not too cold. Reminded me of Oregon. When we got back, Sara lost her shit because on her porch wall was the biggest (non-tarantula) spider I have ever seen. IT was at least the size of a tarantula...as big as my hand, Id say. Ive seen cane spiders in Hawaii and they are big but they are spindly and thin. This thing was a burly beast. It was like a rat-sized wolf spider. It was just chillin out of the rain though so I let it be. On another note, apparently we are flying to Macau on Thursday instead of Sunday. Found out today from my Chinese teacher even before my host mom informed me. Pretty nice day, indeed.
