Went to Inverness yesterday to pick up Gregor who is home on holiday, we left early as we wanted a look at the shops. We arrived at 09:00 and went to the Clarks shoe shop in the High Street. All the staff were sitting inside having coffee and rolls, we tried the door but it was still locked, I thought typical the shop surely doesnt open until 09:30 but no the times clearly displayed in the window 09:00 opening. Checked my watch it was now heading towards 09:10 all the other shops in the street were open, tried the door again definitely locked, they all just sat there looking at us with an expression that said naff off we are having breakfast. Little wonder the High Street is dying with that attitude, I hate to tell them but without customers they wont have a job. I will be sticking to online from now on and hell mend them.
