Went to St. Catharines today with my family. I visited Mom and Dad at Tabor. Mom hasnt been able to respond/recognize me in a while but.... unfortunately... Dad, didnt recognize me today, either. He just wasnt himself, lost in his own world of cops, guns, scooters needing larger engines etc. It was so sad to see him like this. We have hit a new mile stone. I remembered back to the last time I saw him, 4 days ago, and we had a beautiful visit. We sang Amazing Grace his favorite song, as he so relates to the words. When I left 4 days ago, he was really happy to hear I would be back in 4 short days. Coming home, Doug said he had something that he wanted to show us this evening, before we got into the party mode. He played this, so touching, I knew there was more to this hymn but had never researched it myself.
