Went to an oral surgeon today for some exams on my gums. Some of my front gums are gone completely, thanks to exposed muscle underneath drawing it down. hey his words, not mine. no idea got exposed bone at one tooth which he said will wear away.. the bone.. if not taken care of. They asked me if I had braces in the past, and I said yes about 37 yrs ago and told them I thoght that was the start of my problems, since the orthodontist at the time told me to just use a Waterpik to clean my teeth. They agreed Anyway, to keep from mumbling on, I go back the first week of Feb for grafting to fix ? fill in or whatever the exposed muscle and bone. All this doesnt hurt .. yet.. =) . was told Ill be on antibiotics and pain killers for a few weeks after said outpatient surgery. oh and soft foord for now.. Im craving pizza and they said I cant have any at the moment. =(
