Went to bed around 10 last night. As usual Sue took Jackson and Ziva with her as the dogs sleep with Sue and the cats sleep with me. Jackson has been having a few issues regarding his new little sister and sleeping arrangements. Some nights he has simply had enough and he has chosen to sleep on the sofa in the living room. To help him adjust I have sometimes chosen to sleep on the sofa with him. Well, last night Jack went with Sue, I went with the cats, and sometime during the night Jack got up and left his opinion on the floor right outside my bedroom. Good morning, Mommy! Hmm...Jack has really been good with Ziva. They chase and play running like crazy through the house, but I can tell Jack is missing his complete domination of Mommys attention. Yesterday Sam even joined in the play with the two Dachshunds. Talk about hysterical! Sam seems to understand that he is much larger than the Dachshunds and he is careful in his play with them. They, on the other hand, do not get that Mike is 96 pounds and Sam is 60 pounds and to them the Dachshunds could be nothing more than a Scooby Snack! Bottom line is that we still have some minor adjustment issues, but Ziva has become a member of our pack.
