Went to my neurologist today and guess this MS is for real. He said theres nothing can be done for the dizziness, unsteady gait, or constant fatigue and weakness, especially in heat. Got signed up to start on the most aggressive drug he felt would help my relapsing MS and after the blood work and insurance approval should be starting on the every other day injections within a week. I have to admit the idea of giving myself a shot every other day scares me. Could have got the once a week shot but he felt the Betaseron would be a more aggressive therapy. Hes also recommending 20 sessions of physical therapy with the possibility of a use of a cane or walking stick. Its hitting me that this is for real! Im asking for prayers of courage (needles scare me some) and strength.
