Went to work at Jangsa Animal Saving Trust facility at Serbithang on Saturday. There were about 20 volunteers and most of them were fellow graduates from Sherubtse College. Keep up good job guys. My friends and I had the fortune of being a part of this noble initiative. We cleaned the dog pounds and clinic plus planted trees around the area. A day of work there was reminiscent of my childhood days. "working in the fields in my village, by the road side in town-for my own family, for my relatives & for my neighbors. Dust coated skin, mud-stained rags, shabby hair, blistered hands, panting breath & a lowly nerd, are few things to describe me as a growing kid." I think simple things like this make a difference. The dogs will have cleaner to stay. And soon when the trees come up they can rest in the shades. There are many other organizations that are trying to make a difference. Your simple contribution will mean a lot to them. :) One Love
