U-Verse has been the worst experience I have ever had with Internet and TV. Multiple customer service reps have told me I was getting one thing and then I didnt get it. The technician that set it up seemed to in a HUGE rush and when I was asking him about the DVR set up and other things, he blatantly told me he wasnt sure how to do most things and he didnt even know simple questions I needed answers too, like can you set how many episodes you want recorded of a show so your DVR doesnt get flooded with a ton of one particular show. He said, NO we dont have that option. I played with the remote for 5 mins and found out YES they do have that option. I was promised a connect tech to help me learn about everything, and that that person was going to be an actual person who showed up at my house....NOPE...its online and through the phone. I was promised by the sales person (Walter who will be getting a phone call) who showed up to my door that the receivers will allow you to flick or swipe shows/videos from youtube on your iPad or iPhone onto the TV (huge selling point for me) and i was just told, NOPE, we cant do that. Its like everyone I talk to from U-verse/ATT tells me different things. Oh and did I mention my tv signal drops out several times a day. Smh!! Should have gone with Xfinity or stayed with Directv!
