Were hiring! Palo Alto Networks is looking for a brilliant Tools & Simulators Development Engineer. Responsibilities • Development of functional and load testing tools, capable of simulating customer environments resulting in reduction of number of bugs revealed at customer site & smooth reproduction of problems revealed in the field • Development and evaluation of different tools for improving quality with focusing on product stability, scalability & supportability • Work closely with development, quality and support departments for feature testing requirements and creatively suggest and implement simulators and tools to test the feature • Participate in architecture design, product discussions and planning with Engineering and conduct requirements for testing software component Required Qualifications • Academic degree(s) in Computer Science or equivalent • Strong experience with Windows system performance monitoring and tuning • 3+ years hands on experience with software automation development and performance tuning experience in C# and C/C++ • Experience with development of variety load related tools and understanding performance KPIs of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization • Ability to understand field related issues and implement new method to reproduce them in local environment • Experience in low level or real-time environment simulation – an advantage • Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, Perl – an advantage • Performance engineering experience – an advantage • Security background - an advantage • Hands on experience using performance profiling tools • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English • Candidate should also possess the ability to work independently, under pressure with extreme deadlines, prioritize projects, and maintain focus and a sense of humor If youd like to join us, please apply:: https://hire.jobvite/j?aj=oMbnZfw3&s=facebook
