Were living in the digital times where one can watch a full length movie on any device. Soon CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays will be obsolete. When internet becomes 100% worldwide, hi-res downloadable files will happen. Cloudll take care of transfer so no need for pen drive or external hard disk. In fact therere wi-fi (not internet, no internet connection required, it is software coded, so you can use at no internet network area also, all youll needll be electricity to recharge) hard disks now where 3 gadgets can access at the same time. 3D movies also can be watched on personal screens now. Film festivals will make profit through cinephiles. Fan following based films may still do business but not sure how long, therell be an end soon to that. Internet pay and watch or tip jar is already there now. India serves food and beverages inside the theatre, you can order from there, which is a huge disturbance to some audience. Commenting, pushing chairs is a popular behaviour. In India in some theatres, 10mins before they open the front doors so directly the sunlight falls on your face so you cant practically see the big screen ruining your last 5-10 minutes. Is Imagica any good? I havent been there. Peoplell pay only for IMAX movie watching and something like this, thats my prediction. Imagine a 10mins to 90mins film of this type or something else innovative with a train of around 100 people moderately priced so everyone can afford it. It could even be a car or a plane or space suit or just standing or sitting elsewhere. It would be a different setup. But the publicll not agree with me.
