Were pleased that The Nation has a fairly strong article condemning Israeli violence against Palestinians m.thenation/article/180683-war-gaza-and-cycle-impunity. Were disappointed, however, to find the editors promoting only a very small, ethnically defined sliver of the many organizations working on this issue. Its particularly bizarre, for example, that they praise J Street, which opposed the Goldstone Report and consistently sides with Israel over Palestinian human rights, while leaving out the many groups whose work for justice is less constrained by ethnic allegiance.
