West Bend Dyno Tuning had a weekend filled with motorsports. Two WBD crews attended different track events this past weekend and participated in some high speed action. Some of you saw Crew #1 at the Milwaukee Mile for Milwaukee Track Days, presented by WBDyno and the Milwaukee Region of the SCCA. Vince, Travis and Wade represented WBD and assisted the SCCA and track Officials. Two beautiful days of driving out on the historic Mile with the infield road course in both directions. Yep, thats right! On Sunday, the track was reversed! It was an interesting, and more challenging, twist for the second day on track. This little switch-a-roo may happen again at an upcoming Milwaukee Track Day! Stay tuned.... Crew #2, consisting of Brian, Dennis and Brad, flew south with The Bird to the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. Heidts Hot Rod & Muscle Car Partss 2014 Performance Car Challenge was THE event of the weekend. Being the first serious competition the T/A has been entered in this year, the boys were a little antsy to see how changes made over winter would translate to time and speed on track. Initial outing was impressive, but no one could have predicted the results. West Bend Dyno Tuning, with Dennis at the helm, took 1st place in Autocross event, 2nd place in Speed / Stop Squared event, and 2nd place on the road course event. Points were awarded for every event, and with consistency and perseverance, WBDyno was awarded the overall WIN of the two day event! The entire crew here at WBDyno is very satisfied with how the weekend went. We are look forward to the next events with Milwaukee Track Days on July 10th back at the Milwaukee Mile, and the next round of the Ultimate Street Car Challenge at Road America June 20th-22nd for The Bird.
