West Brandywine Police participated in the 18th annual Faulkner Car show/cruise night in West Chester on 9/13/13. The police department entered our 1991 Humvee and 1994 Ford Van, (Traffic Safety Unit) into the event to see if we could win an award. The event was held from 4PM to 9PM, and the public had a chance to tour several police cars, antique cars and classic cars. The event was attended by quite a few police agencies, including agencies out of county and out of state, and had a moderate public turnout. The WBPD is proud to say that our traffic safety unit received an award in the traffic unit category. We are appreciative of the award and had a great time participating. This is a family friendly event, with food, and lots of vehicles to check out. We are looking forward to the 19th annual show next year and hopefully more residents will be able to attend.
