West Ham eye up Zaha loan from Manchester United !! New Old Trafford boss David Moyes will take a look at the England international in pre-season training before deciding whether to loan him out next season By Wayne Veysey | Chief Correspondent West Ham are eyeing up a loan swoop for Manchester United newcomer Wilfried Zaha. Goal understands that the Hammers have registered their interest in taking the England international on loan next season after identifying him as a a key summer target. Zaha is on holiday after featuring for England Under-21s in their disastrous European Championships campaign and will link up with United for the first time next month. New Old Trafford manager David Moyes will run the rule over the last of Sir Alex Ferguson’s United signings in pre-season before deciding whether to send him out on loan. West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is hopeful that if Moyes cannot find a regular place for Zaha in the United squad then he might be willing to loan him to a club who are not an immediate rival and where he can be guaranteed playing time. The 20-year-old was signed by United in the January window in a deal rising to £17million before being loaned back to Crystal Palace for the rest of the season. Allardyce wants to boost his team’s attacking options despite completing the signing of principal summer target Andy Carroll from Liverpool for an initial £15.5m on Wednesday. The Hammers boss is also monitoring the situation of Romelu Lukaku, who will return to Chelsea next month following a successful season-long loan at West Brom. Lukaku has been told that he is part of new manager Jose Mourinho’s plans, although the situation could change if Chelsea are successful in signing up to new of their striker targets, how include Edinson Cavani, Wayne Rooney, Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko.
