West Lothians polling places are open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 18 September. Polling places are expected to be very busy, the message is, if possible, please vote as early in the day as possible. Only put one X inside the box beside the option you want to choose. Please do not write anything else on your ballot paper. If you have forgotten to send your postal vote back - you can hand it in at West Lothian Civic Centre each day up until 5pm on polling day (18 September 2014). Alternatively, you can take it to any Polling Station in West Lothian until 10pm on polling day - as long as you are registered to vote in West Lothian. You do not need your poll card to vote - as long as you are on the electoral register you can go the polling station allocated for your address and vote - to check if you are on the electoral register phone the Electoral Registration Office on 0131 344 2500.
