West Platte Senior Abby Summers has signed a National Letter of Intent with Florida International University in Miami, Florida to play on their Women’s Softball team. In Abby’s 4 years of pitching, she accumulated 550 innings of pitching and her ERA was 1.4. In her high school career, she has earned ranks in the state record book with 1,062 strikeouts, averaging 13.52 strikeouts per 7 innings and pitched in 96 games. Congratulations Abby!
