Its all good up north is a multi part series showcasing the beauty of the natural environment and the lifestyles of the people who live amongst this outstanding region of the World. Steeped in culture and with a plethora of unique spots to visit, the skipper and crew have made it their aim to take you on a journey around the place they call home. Ep.1: The crew head out to the most western tip of the Scottish mainland visiting the rugged coastline of Macrihanish and Campbeltown, before heading over to Islay a remote island within the Hebrides. Along the way they found good clean waves, Intricate Marine ecosystems as well as elaborate geological formations. The high levels of peat within the soil on Islay provide wonders for both islanders and wildlife alike. The special ingredient for some of the worlds finest single malt whiskys the staple of the island economy. On the other hand, the rich peaty soil also provides a rich nutrient base for the variety of wetland ecosystems on the island, in turn providing a rich breeding ground for a variety of different nomadic bird life, Including the infamous Canadian goose!
