Weve all been in a dark place in our lives, you may have gotton laid off your job of 20yrs, lost a loved one, or even an illness. Well look at it like this,we all know that a seed can not germinate in the light, it will only come to life in a dark place, buried in the ground for a period of time before it blossoms to a beautiful flower. In those dark places is were we really grow, our character is developed, we learn to trust. Our spiritual muscles are getting stronger, in those dark places you pray more, you draw closer to God., you get quiet and listen to what he is saying. The dark place reevaluates your priorities, you spend time with your family, you have a new appreciation for what God is giving you. You may not realize it, but in the dark places, your being blessed. When you go thru enough dark places, you dont complain about small things, you have a backbone made of steel! when you go thru a few dark places, it tuffins u up! Moses went thru a dark place,he made a mistake and killed a man, he felt guilty and stayed on the back side of the dessert for 40yrs(with out the drk place, he could have never parted the sea) Ester the orphan was in a dark place, she lost both parents(God use her to save the people of Isreal), Elijah wanted to commit suicide, he as in a dark place,(but yet he is one of the heroes of faith). David had an affair with a married women and had her husband killed, for 1yr he was broken, sick, guilty (yet he is called a man after Gods own heart). People, like Joel said, and i agree, that it wasnt the Good times that bought out the best in me, its was the lonely times, the times i didnt think i could do it on my own, the times when i didnt see a way, thats when i learned how to pray, thats when i developed confidence in God. You have to go thru the back stabbing, the loneliness, the betrayal, to get to the fresh anointing, you have to go thru the stuggle, the lack, the dept before you come to your cup that runs over. In the dark times is when we prove to God what we are made of! The dark places are opportunity to grow, your not there by accident! it may not make sense, just pass the test! Stay in faith! Enjoy your Day and remember, YOU HAVE TO GO THRU IT, IN ORDER TO GET THRU IT!!! I am a living witness! i was in a dark place, you all saw it, i lost everything!
