Weve been saying this, and repeating it for decades, but this sick mentality that says lock up all offenders and give them the max sentence has got to change. Youre paying your taxes to keep a pot smoker in jail, who has committed a minute, non-violent crime. Then they work for the prison system, and youre enriching some prison system $Millionaire, making money off your tax dollars at work. It is amazing how it took a prison sentence to see the light.
