Weve been trying to get married for twenty years now. Something always crops up to stop it. I remember Robs aunty (long since gone!) giving him a cheque for a wedding suit when we lived in Westcliff and made a drunken phone call advertising the happy event. (twenty years ago!) This latest time we havent been able to get to the Mairie for the wedding pack as the car was kept by a an ex-pat conman claiming to know about voitures sans permis for nearly two months. He seems to have swapped the engine for a tractor one. The owners of the Bout du Pont restaurant next door shot out in alarm when we first drove off after the (highly expensive) repairs. Must get to the Mairie tomorrow but the problem here is the french lunch which seems to take up most of the day and by the time we get moving its always well underway. Rob said hell wear a Tshirt with I lOVE THIS WOMAN and an arrow pointing to me. Isnt that such a beautiful thing to say!
