It is excellent in reducing inflammation. Carrot Seed Essential Oil simply the best oil for pampering of more mature skin types. This essential oil works by stimulating red blood cells which improves appearances by adding elasticity and tone to skin. It has a cult-following as an anti-aging oil for preventing wrinkles. For medicinal purposes, it speeds along scar reduction treatments. Calendula Extract has been used to sooth sensitive or irritated skin for many years. Calendula is also a natural antiseptic, rumored to disinfect minor wounds and treat infections. Carrot Extract is high in vitamins A and E and beta carotene. Rose Hip Extract has amazing anti-inflammatory properties as well as to help combat the effects of the sun on skin due to their bioflavonoid content. It is also high in vitamin C and helps fight free radical damage. Lemon Peel Extract, Lemon peels have shown to lighten, smooth and cleanse skin as well as treat acne. It does this using its citric and plant acids to remove dead skin. The anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties of lemons also help clean and freshen the skin. Burdock Extract is commonly used to treat skin ailments such as dandruff and eczema. Its high phytosterol and essential fatty acids. Apple Extract is a promising new water soluble ingredient derived from dried apple extract.
