Weve had a wonderful holiday season with family and friends this year. Like so many of you, weve spent quite a bit of time reminiscing, sharing stories, tears and laughter. It seems like so many have lost loved ones this year during the holidays and our family has not been exempt. My cousin (Anita Gay Parrish Cort) lost her husband George last month, and then her dad - my uncle, Horace Parrish, yesterday. Some of you may remember Horace from the Rebels Quartet. And even closer to me, my sister, Paulette B Delaney, lost her mother-in-law yesterday. It was expected, but nonetheless painful and heartbreaking. Besides our family, several of our close friends have suffered a loss during the holidays. Lets be mindful to keep these families in prayer. Heaven really is sounding sweeter all the time!
