Weve had hundreds of new Likes this week. With new followers comes the need for some simple reminders. 1. The name of this page is a clear indication of law enforcement affiliation. Upon further examination, if needed, you can learn more about this page in the about section. 2. In the about section you will learn that cop bashing of any kind will not be tolerated on this page and will be deleted and the poster immediately banned. 3. Blocking and banning you from this page isnt about not allowing other opinions or censorship, which is hard for many to comprehend. Not everything is about you (repeat 3 times). 5. Cop bashing and negative comments are not allowed for twofold reasons; a) it contributes to negativity which is something LEOs deal with almost everyday. They could just go to work to listen to cop bashers. b) it is a widely known tactic for members of organized cop hate groups to troll pro-law enforcement pages for the sole purpose of obtaining personal information of officers and their families. Many cop bashing comments are posted as a deliberate attempt to engage more responses from LE families in order to obtain information from LE profiles. To reiterate, deleting the hate isnt about the haters, its about protecting our families. 6. A simple but easy concept to follow... Nothing nice to say, move along. I dont troll your site, dont troll mine. There are plenty of public forums to spew hate, this isnt one. 7. This is a PUBLIC page. Those posting, liking and commenting on posts are responsible for their privacy settings on Facebook. To all first responder families, please take great caution with your privacy settings. Consider using partial or different last names than your officer spouse. You can hide virtually all personal information on your profiles, please take time to check them often. Social media can be a positive useful tool on which we can enjoy support, fellowship and friendship. It unfortunately is also a tool of the devious.
