Weve launched a brand new walk-through video of our Botley District Centre regeneration proposals, revised to include all of the changes from the recent major design review. The video shows the huge amount of community benefits the £100m scheme will bring to Botley, as well as the significant improvements that have been made to the designs, including: • New replacement over 55 years age-restricted accommodation. We will be providing 50 one and two bedroom apartments, built to the latest standards, with the one bedroom units 38% bigger than the existing provision and two bedroom units bigger still • Height and massing on the Westminster Way / West Way corner reduced by two storeys • Reduced heights and elevation changes on West Way and Westminster Way • Significant architectural improvements made to the southern aspect of the student accommodation and potential for over-looking removed • Creation of a feature entrance stairway into the piazza, including a ramp to provide an attractive alternative step free access to the site • Introduction of a crèche and new space for start-up businesses We hope you like it!
