We’re developing a planning proposal to make it easier for businesses to set up outdoor dining across our city. A while ago we shared a draft of the proposal, but we’ve now made some further changes, and want to know what you think before it’s adopted. The newest draft will allow more areas to be used for outdoor dining, and removes some redundant components that are already covered by state legislation. It also aims to improve accessibility by requiring any businesses wanting to display goods on the footpath to apply for specific approval.
