We’re now accepting submissions for our two major translation prizes! The $1,000 Harold Morton Landon Translation Award recognizes a published translation of poetry from any language into English and published in the previous calendar year. Bill Johnston will judge. The $25,000 Raiziss/de Palchi Fellowship is given for the translation of modern Italian poetry, to enable an American translator to travel, study, or otherwise advance a significant work-in-progress. The winning translator will also receive a five-week residency at the American Academy in Rome. Adria Bernardi, Luigi Fontanella, and Giuseppe Leporace will judge. Submissions will be accepted through February 15.
