We’re sharing our final Safety Committee video (clip #3) as part of their week-long campaign about safeguarding personal property. The fall term is underway, and we know our students are busy with classes and extracurricular events! It’s important, however, to be mindful where you place valuables/who you share them with. Those items may be smartphones, tablets, laptops, wallets, bicycles, cars, textbooks, etc. The purpose of us sharing these videos is not to alarm our students but to advocate taking basic safety precautions. Our Security team works hard on all of our campuses to help prevent and reduce theft from occurring. We need your help, though! In this clip, this theft would have likely been prevented if the student had placed his backpack closer to him (not on the table with the other students), and it may have been safer putting the textbook in his backpack.
