We’ve been very skeptical about this organization for some time now. It seems absurd to expect people to donate to something that should be covered under programs supported by taxpayer dollars … like the VA. And, it’s most likely that the people who donate are those who can least afford it. Not surprisingly, there have been some serious questions raised about how much money is actually going to ‘wounded warriors’. Apparently, this organization simply funnels money to other organizations like the VFW. Then, why not give to those organizations directly? It sounds like by giving to WWP, you’re simply funding some fat executive salaries. In the end, I suggest we send the bill for wounded ‘warriors’ to the Koch brothers, KBR and Halliburton. They made enough money off these wars to be able to pay handsomely. It would be chump change.
