We’ve done it!!! Last night in front of family, friends and supporters at our 3rd Annual Michelle Horback Palgut Memorial Golf Outing, we presented a check in the amount of $33,000 to representatives from Michigan State University to fund an endowment scholarship in Michelle’s name. This was one of the primary goals when we started our charity 2 ½ years ago. This is a most befitting legacy to Michelle as she was a hard-working, studious young woman having graduated from Michigan State University, earned her Master’s degree and became a CPA. Accepting the check were Mary Gray, Associate Director of Development and Vallabh Sambamurthy, Current Chair of the Accounting Department at the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. We are very grateful for and proud of the efforts put forth by our supporters who helped us attain our goal in half the time we had estimated it would take. This accomplishment confirms that with hard work and determination, anything can be achieved. Michelle would be humbled to know how her family and friends have rallied for her to establish something that would be so important to her and benefit future Michigan State University students for endless years to come.
