What I find disconcerting about Yellowknifes fire situation is that GNWT isnt, that I can see, telling us their plan. Id feel a lot more reassured if I knew: - when might fire reach Yellowknife - can we hold it back from the city? - when would a city evacuation be ordered, e.g. 1 day before it hits? - how long would an evacuation take, i.e. when does it need to start? Vague statements telling us were not in immediate danger, and that we should take precautions because of the smoke -- these are not reassuring. Were told there is a plan. What is it?
