What I like about lock picking is the patience it requires. I am not a patient person, though I see the need to follow a process. So this is a great reminder to develop more patience. In other areas of life, like in business for instance, its important to develop that same kind of patience. We all want quick results. However, the truth is its probably going to take time to get where we want to go, consistently hit our revenue target, etc. And developing any skill takes time. Unfortunately, the tendency of most people is to rush into business and expect lightning results from a magic solution. This is a recipe for frustration. If I expected instant picking ability starting out, Id throw down the lock & tools in disgust after a few anger-generating minutes. Thats obviously not the best answer.
