What If? Wednesday Bye guys! Ill be back in a little while., says your oldest as they head out the door with bike helmet in hand. Be careful., you say, and go back to fixing your cup of coffee. Just as youre sitting down, you hear the screeching of tires followed by the crunch of metal and a sickening thud right in front of your house. You jump out of your seat and race to the front door and are greeted with every parents worst nightmare. You see a bicycle under the front tires of the car and a spider-webbed windshield. You run around the car and see your first baby lying on the ground, moaning and whimpering, her helmet cracked and a pool of blood growing as bright red blood pulses from an open fracture to her leg right above the knee. You yell at the driver to help you help her. What do I do?!?!, you plead. A neighbor has poked their head out to see what is going on and you yell for them to call 911. The time chooses you. Would you know what to do? What if?
