What Ive learned so far is the 3rd week after chemo is clearly the best. Which is great because I spoke at the SF Garden Club on Tuesday (with the help of my good friend Cathy White). But, that morning I realized my eyebrows were beginning to fall out, which was so sad. So Cathy whisked me away to her long-time friend at the Saks make-up counter to help me figure out just what to do. This woman, Alexis, was SO fantastic as she not only helped me fix my new eyebrows, but helped to find a swanky new head-wrap. Check it out! I spent every cent I had just earned on this Givenchy scarf with a frothing rottweiler on it. So - when I go into chemo again on Tuesday, Ill not only have the love of friends and family surrounding me, all of your good wishes and kind thoughts, but a furiously angry rottweiler to scare cancer away!
