What Should be the Speed of Ceiling Fan at DSSC, Wellington Quarters? ========================================================== After I was selected for the 45th Staff Course in March 1989, when in Vizag, only argument I had everyday with my wife was, what will be the speed of ceiling fan in our house, once we start staying in quarters!! After our marriage, we had stayed only at Vizag, Goa & back in Vizag and we had not compromised on the fan speed, as I always wanted 4 or 5 and she wanted 1 or 2!! But, some how, we managed the speed of fan by keeping it at 3. So it was agreed that, we will keep fan speed at number 2, in our quarters at DSSC, once we reach; as we were aware that climate is cold at Wellington. The D day arrived in Jun 1989, as we were welcomed and taken from Mettupallyam station to DSSC by Army Bus, our quarter number told, papers, Keys & Gas Cylinder etc handed over to us. After reaching our designated quarters, lo-behold, my wife was overjoyed, as the quarters did not have a single ceiling fan!!!
